I don’t know what Suede is about. I’ve never looked it up. But I always relate it to the suicide of one of my friends. I can relate every lyric in the song to how I feel about the situation, but especially the end. ”Oh, little sister, I hoped you wouldn’t feel that way” just reminds me of watching his little sister at his funeral. The song always takes me back to that funeral.
